Northgate Resorts converted Hospitality Creek Campground & Swim Club in Gloucester County into a Jellystone Park Camp-Resort.
The Williamstown campground has 233 campsites including two cabins and six rental trailers. It features an Olympic-size swimming pool as well as a 30-acre lake that offers one of New Jersey’s finest freshwater fishing habitats, according to Northgate officials. The lake also features diving docks and a water obstacle course. Boat rentals also are available.
“This picturesque campground is a perfect escape for families from Philadelphia to Atlantic City to the Jersey Shore," Zachary Bossenbroek, CEO of Northgate Resorts, said in a press statement.
The park has more than 90 acres of additional space to add campsites, cabins and additional attractions, he said.
Yogi Bear costumed character appearances debuted on July 4th weekend.
Additional attractions include nature trails, playgrounds, a horseshoe pit and sports courts for basketball, baseball and volleyball.
Northgate plans to eventually equip the campground with an interactive water play area typical of other Jellystone Park locations. Northgate Resorts owns and operates 18 Jellystone Park Camp-Resort locations across the U.S.
The company recently added a jumping pillow and is working on installing gaga ball pits as well as two new waterfront cabins with screened-in porches, each of which can accommodate up to eight people.
